This endorsement allows a pilot with a PPL or higher License to fly an aircraft with more than one engine.
It is highly recommended to gain at least 5 hours with a constant speed propeller (available in our 172RG or 182) before starting the Multi-Engine Rating. This will save you money versus spending extra practice time in the C310 with the higher rental rates.
To take advantage of training in our C310, if doing the multi and multi-IFR ratings together we train to the multi pre-flight stage and then pause -- continuing to some of the multi-IFR flight training to gain additional experience in handling the C310 before returning to the multi pre-flight/flight test. This helps you utilize all of your multi-engine flying to be best prepared for the multi flight test, and minimizes extra rental costs as all flight hours would be loggable training time towards rating minimums.
- Must hold a PPL;
- Flight Test. TC approved Pilot Examiner on staff;
- No written exam required for multi rating. If completing both multi and multi-IFR ratings, the INRAT exam must be completed before commencing the multi rating.
- No minimum flight time.
Anticipate 3-6 days if full-time.
